Jack Jasper Honored for Accomplishments in Fine Art

CHICAGO, IL, December 2, 2010 /Graphics and Printing PR News/ -- Jack Jasper, Graphic Designer and Illustrator for Jdesign, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fine art.
With 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Jasper is a creative and resourceful designer, who has been involved in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. He has developed an expertise in concept design and production, and has worked in Web design and desktop publishing. At Jdesign, Mr. Jasper illustrates textbooks and produces works of fine art. He is especially skilled in illustration and design for medical databases, textbooks and presentations. He uses QuarkXPress and HTML coding, as well as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver.
Since 2003 Mr. Jasper has been represented by Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in Manhattan, where his work has been purchased by New York art collectors. In 1982, Mr. Jasper was recognized by the Helena Film Society with an artist program grant; he was honored for the design and printing of the collaborative book, The Man in the Green Loden Overcoat, which juxtaposed words and images. He was later honored by Manhattan Arts International in 1999; he was given an Urban Visions Juried Exhibition Competitive Award of Merit.
A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Mr. Jasper holds a Master of Fine Arts in painting and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He completed additional coursework in medical technology and performance art. He belongs to the Chicago Artists' Coalition, the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Society of Typographic Arts. Happily married, Mr. Jasper attributes his success to his hard work, and he intends to experience further growth.
